Notes about Linux stuff from an end-user perspective, mostly Slackware, also Ubuntu.
Reasons:
- To remind myself of stuff that I looked up, saved online so that I can get at it even when using a different machine.
- To enhance the ranking of correct solutions elsewhere (in the slim¹ hope that they will be easier to find in the future).
- So that other people might benefit¹.
- Since this site has no ranking, the chance that (2) or (3) will happen is not very great.
